Speaking of music or lack there of...

So why do you think Adam Lambert had to strut his stuff on the American Music awards last night. I didn't really catch the blow by blow footage but...I heard it was pretty bad. Kinda funny I think he may be trying to make waves the way Madonna did back in 85 with Like a Virgin. And good point....women have been doing this shit for many many years...but because he is a HOMOSEXUAL MALE ....well people aren't ready and it makes them uncomfortable...My only question to Adam Lambert is.....you have a beautiful voice...why do you need to jack it up with all this nonsense...? Just sing the damn song and don't worry so much about performance.. SO I mean if you really think about it...it's only those who really couldn't sing that need to put on a show to cover up their mediocre vocals. For example:

Elvis (sorry Loc)
Madonna (yes Madonna I said it...so what)
Jennifer Lopez ( did you see her fall on her ass last night....classic)
Britney Spears (3 words...MIckey Mouse Club)


Ok so now here are people everyone makes a fuss about because they are boring and just sit there and sing...But listen to them sing people....beautiful voices

The Beatles (not necessarily Ringo)
Paul McCartney with Wings ( no not Linda)
George Strait (timeless)
Jim Croce ( he was ugly but he sure could play and sing)
Roy Orbison ( you know he was so ugly they told him to keep his shades on!)

and then there are the very few that can do both....and I mean sing and perform

Justin Timberlake (mainstream or not...he can sing)
Prince ( sing, play, and perform...the only true triple threat)
Michael Jackson ( yeah I said it ....so what!!! If you don't believe he can sing....just watch This is IT)

and while I am on the subject....Let's go back to Madonna and JLO....why do they feel the need to act like 20 something year olds when they are indeed in their 40's and 50's? Shouldn't they just pull up a stool and sing with their beautiful voices??? Oh yeah I forgot they are on LIST A!! Besides would you pay to see JLo perform an acoustic set? Didn't think so...and if you said yes...you only would to see her!

any you know I wrote this stuff because I can't sing or play or perform...so I must be jealous.
